Pamela’s Proposal Story – Congrats on your $200 credit!

Hi Jeff here is my wedding proposal story. A little background on the happy couple, We have been together almost 5 years and although joked about getting married someday we never really talked much about it. The groom has a little bit of commitment phobia. So back to the proposal. I was really late on Christmas eve 2009 we where just about to head to bed when Al asked me if i wanted to open my stocking. I said no I was tired and would open it in the morning. He said no come on doing it now. So at this point I wasn’t thinking much about what would be inside I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. I had thought that there might be some jewelry inside since he has always given me jewelry for Christmas but I was not thing ring. I start to open what was in the stocking the usual stuff candy pair of socks a usb memory stick nothing to warrant  not going to bed. I get to the bottom  of the stocking and pull out a small box with a Santa on top.  As I am bout to open it Al slides off the couch and kneels in front of me, I am still not thinking ring maybe because it was three in the morning or I just didn’t want to get my hopes up. I was thinking it was a bracelet and he was just getting in front of me to put it on.  I open the Santa box and inside is a tresure chest box and inside that was a ring. A gorgeous  white gold ring with black and white diamonds.  Has I  am looking at the ring through now teary eyes Al says to me so you want to get married. I know not the most romantic words ever spoken but for me and that night they were music to my ears. I off course said yes. So that is my proposal story, and a night I will never forget.
